We are still looking for sponsors! $200 gets your business name on the shirt! Sponsors will also be able to provide fliers, coupons, or even just business cards that will be provided to all of the participants! (right now that means we will be mailing these to 13 different states and to a Providence of Canada) If you would like your business name on the back of the shirt you need to contact us before August 1st! We will be providing Blue Ribbon with the shirt order on August 1st.

Brooke and I ran the course this morning!
We started our run "take a picture we will need a sign or volunteer here" and run again at 9:00AM ! Let me tell you I am so glad we are starting the race at 7:30AM because the sun started coming out in full force!

Runners, I think you will be able to get some pretty good times on this course! 
There are a few minor hills, but not killer hills! 
We will be crossing through a few intersections, but we will have volunteers out there to monitor them and they will be able to point you in the right direction! 

Overall, we were pretty excited about the course!

Race Day Schedule of Events:

Packet Pick Up:
Friday August, 17th: 11:00AM-6:00PM
Packets will have your brAVERY run shirt, racing bib (very important) and goodies from our sponsors!
Everyone that can stop by and pick up their packets on Friday will only need to be at the race 30 minutes before the race starts!

This site is also a great place to be able to create your own route if you are participating in the virtual run! 

Brooke and I will be running/walking the route soon! We will create a list of volunteers that we will need for the race and have a sign up sheet at Anytime Fitness in Fredericksburg.

Here is a little up date with where we are on everything with the brAVERY run:
  • The virtual run now has 12 different US States registered and we have people from Canada registered as well! How awesome would it be if we got people from all 50 states to register!!
  • The medals have been ordered and they are going to look AMAZING! I will post a picture when we get them in!
  • We are still waiting to place the official brAVERY run shirts until we finalize all of our sponsors. If you have been thinking about sponsoring it is not too late. Get your information to us by the end of the month so we can put your business name on the back of the official event shirts!
  • Speaking of sponsors, we do need more! Our sponsors allow us to make this the best race ever! We specifically need sponsors to help us purchase post race snacks and port-a-potties! From there all other sponsorships will help us raise EVEN MORE money to finding a cure!
